Grand Rounds | Chronic Otitis Media and That Darn Eustachian Tube

Planners expect learners to:
  1. Describe the anatomy of the eustachian tube and how its function affects middle-ear health.
  2. Describe the medical and surgical management of pediatric chronic otitis media.
  3. List the medical and surgical treatment options for eustachian tube dysfunction in the pediatric patient.
  4. Identify anatomic and functional differences of the eustachian tube in children with Down syndrome.
