Our 86 residents come from diverse backgrounds and medical schools across the United States. At BCH Oakland, they prepare to become life-long learners, advocates for their patients and families, and leaders in their field, be it community pediatrics, academic medicine, or other disciplines. Very well prepared for any career path in pediatrics, our graduates are recruited for positions in the most competitive pediatric subspecialty fellowships, the most highly regarded primary care and hospitalist groups, and other fields such as public and international health.
