UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Children’s Office of the Medical Director administers these educational activities. Medical Staff Continuing Education Committee is responsible for event planning and program content.
Each activity is designed to meet identified educational needs in clinical practice and pediatric healthcare delivery. We strive to offer relevant topics and useful education in an era of rapidly expanding knowledge, new technologies and progressive demands on healthcare professionals. All courses are planned and implemented by the Medical Staff Continuing Education Committee in accordance with the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education Accreditation Rules.
