Planners expect learners to:
1. Describe the anatomy and physiology of the lymphatic circulation and explain how disrupted flow produces chylothorax, PLE, plastic bronchitis, and chylous ascites.
2. Identify infants and children with suspected lymphatic flow disorders and initiate appropriate workup, including referral for MR lymphangiogram.
3. Identify clinical scenarios where lymphatic disease is misattributed to common diagnoses and examine how diagnostic anchoring may delay recognition and treatment.
