Planners expect learners to:
1. Describe the rationale and supporting evidence for implementing the low FODMAP diet in pediatric patients with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
2. Explain the role of gut-directed hypnotherapy in modulating the gut–brain axis.
3. Review the indications, mechanism, and clinical outcomes of IB-Stim therapy in adolescents with IBS.
4. Discuss cultural, dietary, and socioeconomic factors that may influence the acceptance, adaptation, and adherence to non-pharmacologic therapies for pediatric IBS.
