Planners expect learners to:
1. Describe the evidence linking weight-centric care to weight stigma, disordered eating, and adverse health outcomes.
2. Identify weight-independent health markers that can be incorporated into clinical practice to assess and support pediatric patient wellbeing in a non-stigmatizing, inclusive way.
3. Apply a weight-inclusive framework to clinical conversations in the era of GLP-1 medications, including strategies for aligning with patients on health goals rather than weight outcomes.
