“Healing Outside of a Western Context: An Integrative Medicine Needs Assessment”

Planners expect learners to:
1. Anticipate common cultural remedies used by patients in our community. (Zaat)
2. Name 1-2 common uses of cultural remedies by patients in our community. (Zaat)
3. Identify gaps in residents' experiences as they relate to integrative medicine. (Zaat)
4. Identify the rationale for including patient and family safety observations of care into inpatient safety efforts. (Bardach, Kuo, & Vlasses)
5. Describe the use of a digital health interface for collecting these observations, with considerations of race, ethnicity, and language. (Bardach, Kuo, & Vlasses)
6. Describe approaches to incorporating observations into inpatient safety efforts. (Bardach, Kuo, & Vlasses)
