Grand Rounds | Biologic Therapies for Pediatric Asthma, Allergies, and Eczema

Planners expect learners to:
1. Diagnose notable (and board-testable) side effects of biologics for asthma, allergies, and eczema, such as parasitic infection risks with anti-IL-5 agents and conjunctivitis with dupilumab.
2. Identify new biologics approved for pediatric atopic dermatitis, CSU, food allergies, and more.
3. Describe which biologics generally require referral to a specialist, and which might be prescribed by a general pediatrician.
