Planners expect learners to:
1. Describe the recent epidemiology of congenital syphilis.
2. Describe current recommendations for screening of syphilis during pregnancy, identify acceptable treatment regimens during pregnancy, and identify neonates at risk for congenital syphilis.
3. Determine appropriate management of infants exposed to syphilis during pregnancy.
