- Use the Autism Color Wheel with families to identify patients’ unique strengths and challenges.
- Reference the guide, How to Get Evaluation and Services for Autism, to help families navigate systems of care such as regional centers, insurance, school districts and benefits.
- Use the Checklist for Linking Your Patient to Autism Services and the School Evaluation Request Letter to assist families in establishing links to services and supports.
UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland is accredited by the California Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

ABP MOC Part 2 Points
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the learner to earn up to 1 MOC point in the American Board of Pediatrics’ (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. ABS Continuous Certification (CC)
